Is it bad to sleep with eye make-up on?

I don’t wear foundation, so i don’t have to worry about that; but i do sometimes sleep with eye shadow, eye liner, and mascara when i don’t feel like taking time to take it off.
Is that bad?

It’s usually not a good idea to sleep with eye makeup on just because it tends to be a bit of a breeding ground for bacteria, which you DEFINITELY don’t want close to your eyes.

I’ve had nights like that too though- you come home and all you want to do is sleep. Taking makeup off definitely doesn’t seem like a priority. On nights like that, I use the pre-moistened makeup removing towelettes. They’re kind of like baby wipes, but they’re soaked with makeup remover (actual baby wipes aren’t that great at removing eyeliner or mascara). One quick wipe over each eye will take everything off. I know Neutrogena makes them, and so does Olay. Most drugstores make their own generic brands too. They’re pretty inexpensive.
