Its just something I wanted to know. All 14 of her children were conceived using in vitro fertilization. Including the 6 prior to the 8 newborns. In Vitro is $16,000 a pop. Tell me how she managed $112,000 worth of medical experimentation?
She lives in a rat hole with her six children and the home is going up for auction due to non payment of her mortgage for 8 months. How is someone who cannot afford their mortgage paying for in vitro????

Should the state sue the Dr. and clinic that acted irresponsibly by implanting Octomom in the first place
Make them pay for all their needs until the kids turn 18?

I think this is the biggest crime of the century. Child abuse, welfare abuse. We are paying for ALL of her 14 children. Plus, the fact she refuses having a father around. They need to give all kids up for adoption. She does not deserve these kids.

I see all types of people whining about their tax money payig for her, but welfare & disability are paid in a state by state basis. Perhaps she is the cause of California’s buget crisis but I live in Alabama , so it’s not really my problem. Probably not your’s either, amirite?

Does she seem very unstable to you? Do you think she really is trying to be like Angelina Jolie in a “twisted way”? I mean just because she looks like her doesn’t really mean she idolizes her.
But back to the main question. I ask this because she seems unstable from her own interviews and it seems like no matter how many children she has she’s unhappy. Like it won’t fulfill her.

Nadya Suleman, the mother of the octuplets born last month, gets $490 a month in food stamps, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday evening. Three of her first children also get federal supplemental security income because they are disabled, the Times reported.
During an interview with Ann Curry on the TODAY show, Suleman denied being on welfare.

Does that give me free reign to knock over liquor stores as I please?
Rio: Of couse it’s not an indictable offense to have children. But she didn’t just “have” children. She *made* children artificially in a lab. It’s not indictable because she used “her body” to ruin the lives of 14 children. So why can’t I apply the “my body” defense to armed robbery? After all, I’m using my body to harm others in a similar (but less harmful) way as Ms. Suleman.
R. Gaspari: He’s just the equivalent of the getaway car driver.

I know most of what we hear isn’t true, but I’m just being nosey. You hear that woman is buying a million dollar house and then that she is losing hers and it is going up for auction on March 5th. Why are people ignoring all the money she got from interviews/photo shoots? It was reported that she asked for millions. Anyone know how much she got?
Also, I thought it was interesting Kate from Jon and Kate plus 8 came out and said it takes 50 people a week to keep her family rolling.
